ALKALINE VEGAN BROTH
VEGAN
Ingredients
2 large red onion
2 leaves chopped collard greens
1 bunch chopped green onion
2 big sheets roasted nori seaweed
1/4 cup fresh oregano
1 cup fresh basil
1 tablespoon dried thyme
1 tablespoon celery seed
6 dried bay leaves
7 tablespoons celtic sea salt
1 - 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
1/4 cup olive oil
5 liters spring water
Instructions
In a large stock pot, add all ingredients. Bring it to a boil then reduce to medium heat and cover.
Leave it on a gentle simmer for around 2 hours. Stirring periodically.
You can strain the vegetables or let them be.
Store in large glass ball jars for up to 7 days in refrigerator or let cool and store in freezer safe silicone pouches for up to 3 months.
You can drink broth alone or add to recipes.
Makes 20 cups of broth
