ALKALINE VEGAN BROTH

VEGAN

Ingredients

  • 2 large red onion

  • 2 leaves chopped collard greens

  • 1 bunch chopped green onion

  • 2 big sheets roasted nori seaweed

  • ¼ cup fresh oregano

  • 1 cup fresh basil

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1 teaspoon celery seed

  • 4 dried bay leaves

  • 7 tablespoons celtic sea salt

  • 1/2 - 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • ¼ cup olive oil

  • 5 liters spring water

Instructions

  • In a large stock pot, add all ingredients. Bring it to a boil then reduce to medium heat and cover.

  • Leave it on a gentle simmer for around 2 hours. Stirring periodically.

  • You can strain the vegetables or let them be.

  • Store in large glass ball jars for up to 7 days in refrigerator or let cool and store in freezer safe silicone pouches for up to 3 months.

  • You can drink broth alone or add to recipes.

Makes 20 cups of broth
