SAUTEED CABBAGE

Ingredients

  • 1 large head organic cabbage chopped

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3 teaspoons celtic salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme

  • 2 tablespoons grass-fed butter

  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Prep

  • Chop cabbage 1/2 inch thick clean /rinse thoroughly set aside.

Instructions

  • Turn on medium heat, add 2 tablespoons olive oil and 1 teaspoon of celtic salt.

  • Add half of the cabbage head to the pan, sprinkle black pepper on top and add the other half cabbage and the rest of the salt. Cover and cook 10 minutes.

  • After 10 minutes has passed add dried thyme, and begin to incorporate, make sure to move the cooked cabbage underneath towards the top and the less cooked cabbage to the bottom. Cook uncovered for 8 more minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Add grass-fed butter, red pepper flakes and paprika, incorporate and cook five more minutes removed from heat and serve!
